Lance Chang grew up in Hollywood under the influence
of his chemist father, his painter mother, and the fertile artistic environment
of Southern California. After graduating from the Brooks Institute of
Photography in Santa Barbara, Lance moved to San Diego where he now works
as a commercial and fine art photographer. Lance solidified his artist's
vision after experiencing the mysterious beauty of the aurora borealis
(northern lights) during time spent in Iceland. He immediately decided
to pursue similar movements of dramatic light and stunning, vivid color
in his photography. Contrast, movement, energy and impact converge to
create a lasting impression that extends beyond what is readily seen into
what is felt and experienced. Lance's imagery captures the moments that
captivate an audience in order to communicate with them in today's saturated
visual environment.
